I've coped across the game content, reinstalled, and oh that's right, I have to use Rockstar's shitty fucking login system on top of Steam to play the goddamn game.Įntering my email and password with "Remember email" or "Remember login details" gives me the swirling white connecting logo. Last time I played was prior to a format. Total amount of both the Max Payne 3 and Max Payne 3 Rockstar Pass was $44.I think I'd like to play through Max Payne 3 again, maybe. Owe the Steam thread suggested uninstalling vcredist_x86 from the Max Payne 3 MP3_Installers folder and so I did and it wasn't in my Max Payne 3 MP3_Installers folder the whole time I was trying to get Rocksters social blub to work, I re-installed vcredist_x86 that was in the Max Payne 3 MP3_Installers folder afterwards and then removed all administrator compatibility from the steam exe and Max Payne 3 exe!.Īll this troubleshooting took me over a hour in a half to do, I bought Max Payne 3 and Max Payne 3 Rockstar Pass from steam last night for $44.98 USD during the steam autumn sale, Max Pay 3 was 50% off at $29.99 USD and Max Payne 3 Rockstar Pass was 50% off at $14.99 USD, Steam installed 9 DLC's and addons and maps for Max Payne 3
and pressing the home key worked and I was able to sign into the Rockstars social club and the cd key came up for Max Payne and I was able to activate the game and it started and went to a cut scene with either a apartment or hotel room with the main character!. Press the Home key and see if you can log in manually. I googled "Max Payne 3 and permanent initializing screen" and first came across a 18 page Steam Max Payne 3 thread about the problem, but it was no help, and then I found the solution from Rockstars games themselves Link they suggested running steam in compatibility mode as administrator and so I did that and I did the samething to Max Payne 3 exe and ran it too in compatibility mode as administrator and rocksters link I gave earlier suggested If you are stuck loading, auto-signin may have failed. It kept happening because Rockstars social club bugged up and closed to quickly and you needed to activate Max Payne in Rockstars social club with the cd key that steam gave you when you purchased the game!.
